What Should YOU Know about the Nuclear Industry?

As an ENGINEER, do you want a well-paying job? Do you like to be intellectually challenged? The nuclear field is hiring new engineers to solve complex problems.

As an SCIENTIST, do you want an environmentally friendly energy option? Do you think on an atomic scale regarding impact forces and energy conservation? Fission can be the source of self-sustainable energy.

As a CONSUMER, do you want your electric bills decreased? How do you feel about health diagnostic tests? Nuclear sciences affect your everyday life in more ways than you realize.

Our Purpose: Fall 2009

This site is meant to support the Introduction to Nuclear Engineering course at the University of Mississippi. We intend to neither be proponent nor opponent of nuclear energy - we will discuss the technical aspects of power generation and their relation to functioning in a responsible global society.
